Comedienne Janeane Garofalo says she had no idea she has been married for two decades, until her unassuming husband wanted to walk down the aisle himself.
The 48-year-old stand-up comedienne, actress, liberal political activist and writer said she married her then boyfriend of one year, Rob Cohen, 'as a joke' in 1991- but didn't think the nuptials had actually stuck.
She told the New York Post: 'We got married drunk in Vegas...
We dated for a year, and we got married at a drive-through chapel in a cab. [We thought] you have to go down to the courthouse and sign papers and stuff, so who knew?'
