OVERVIEW

The Global Public Finance Partnership (GPFP) is the IMF’s main vehicle for providing fiscal capacity development (CD) to developing economies, especially LICs & FCS, and emerging markets.

The GPFP aims to foster strong revenue mobilization policies, well-functioning revenue administrations, effective expenditure policies, and sound public financial management practices, while integrating macro-relevant themes such as climate change, gender & inclusion, and GovTech for digitalizing fiscal operations.

The 2024 Annual Meetings event will provide an update on the GPFP implementation and bring together beneficiaries of the GPFP CD support and our partners – including new partners since its launch at the 2024 Spring Meetings.
